My independence day celebration

Enjoying the soup on January 1st

We had a very good day celebrating the new year as a family and then as Haitians. After spending it with my family and relatives, I drove 10 minutes to a fellow haitian's couple house to take some picture of us enjoying our squash soup. We felt so much in Haiti! We had fun also playing some konpa There are feelings you just can't explain and I was so proud to live our tradition.

Mrs. Paul preparing the squash soup for us. She is a very good cook

If you are one of these people who like to try all kind of food then you can try the recipe and let me know how it went.

Yummy!!!
